Prince Harry will visit Belize, The Bahamas and Jamaica on behalf of The Queen as part of Her Majesty's Diamond Jubilee celebrations. His
overseas visit will be from the 2nd - 8th March 2012.
In addition, Harry will visit Brazil in support of the United Kingdom Government and his charities from 9th to 11th March.According to St. James Palace, Prince Harry's visit to Brazil in March, at the request of the Foreign Office in addition to touring three Commonwealth countries.
Prince Harry will be in Jamaica (including Kingston and Falmouth) from March 5 to 8, the palace says. It's Harry's first overseas tour on behalf of the Queen. Brazil is regarded as a huge and vital emerging market for British exports.
The event is part of a new marketing campaign known as "The Great" to promote Britain's industrial, cultural and other achievements around the world, British Embassy and Foreign Ministry officials told reporters in Rio de Janeiro.The announcement was made during a visit by Foreign Secretary William Hague to Brazil to improve diplomatic and trade ties with Latin America's largest country and economic powerhouse.
